Privacy
This notice explains what GetKnown. collects, what becomes public, what stays non-public, and which service providers help us operate the product.
Event participation
For an invitation-only event, its organiser supplies participant email addresses to authorise access. GetKnown checks the email on your verified account against that list. The organiser may also supply your name, activity, city and event expectations already collected during registration to prepare your private participant card. You can edit these details; missing answers do not block workshop choices. Shared bookings are not automatically attributed to individual attendees. Your event goals, optional offers of help, workshop preferences and assigned programme are stored separately from your public GetKnown page. The organiser can see this preparation to arrange the event.
The participant directory is optional. Only when you enable it do other authorised participants see your name, activity and event answers. Your sign-in email and workshop rankings are not shown in that directory. You can separately select an owned GetKnown page, enter a contact email or LinkedIn profile and explicitly choose to share those links and details with authorised participants, only while your directory entry is visible. Sharing is off by default and can be withdrawn at any time. Contact buttons open the selected GetKnown page, your email app or LinkedIn. The event space has no chat; messages submitted through a GetKnown page use its existing enquiry service. You can hide your entry or withdraw your preparation in the event space without deleting your GetKnown page. Account export and account deletion include your event records. Event participation does not subscribe you to a newsletter or give permission to feature your page in GetKnown marketing.
If you recommend someone for Nexkt Summit, their name, optional email and your message are sent through our email provider to hello@conexkt.world, together with your account email so the team can reply. Share someone’s email only with their permission. Recommendations do not create an account, grant access or trigger a message to the person. They are not added to the participant directory. Contact hello@conexkt.world about removing a recommendation from the organiser’s mailbox.
01 · Who operates GetKnown.
GetKnown. is operated by Conexkt Consulting Ltd, Canada. You can contact us at hello@conexkt.world or through GetKnown. Support.
02 · Information we process
- Account information: your email address, authentication identifiers, and session information needed for passwordless sign-in.
- Optional newsletter preference: your verified account email, opt-in or withdrawal status, date, language and the wording/version you agreed to. These records are private. Creating an account or publishing a page does not subscribe you.
- Optional Google sign-in: if you choose Google, Google shares your email address, name and profile picture with our Supabase authentication service to sign you in. This does not give GetKnown access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files or contacts, and does not automatically publish those account details on your page. Email-link sign-in remains available.
- Profile information: company name, descriptions, services, links, public contact details, brand settings, video links, approved-answer questions and answers, and other content you choose to publish.
- Private page settings: your working strategy brief, drafts, and the private address where enquiries are delivered. Only the approved public page content is exposed to visitors.
- Visitor enquiries: name, email, and message submitted through a company contact form.
- Support messages and suggestions: contact details, messages, feature suggestions and feedback you send through the GetKnown. help form. These submissions are private, not public posts.
- Billing information: subscription status and billing identifiers. Stripe processes card and payment details; GetKnown. does not need to store full card numbers.
- Optional referrals: a random invitation code, account identifiers, attribution dates, eligibility status and subscription-credit records. We compare hashed email identities and, where available, Stripe payment-method fingerprints to discourage self-referrals. Referrers see totals and credits, not the invited person’s email, private page data or payment details.
- Trial information: whether your account has used a custom-name trial, its dates, reserved addresses, immutable page identifier, account email, and reminder-delivery status. We also store a hash of your normalized email identity to prevent repeated trials through common email aliases, and hashed public website or social-profile links with account identifiers to flag potential repeat use for review. These records are private security records, not anonymous data or an identity-verification badge. Matching links alone do not block publication. This supports trial administration, account notifications, and protection against address reuse. It does not include payment-card details.
- Usage information: profile-view events, basic technical logs, and browser/session information required to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
03 · What is public
Anything you publish on a company page is intended to be public, including the page URL, company description, links, public contact details, approved-answer content, logo, brand settings, and video content you choose to expose.
Published company pages, approved customer answers, public metadata and generated sharing images can be read by visitors, search engines and AI-search crawlers. A search or social service may cache this public information. GetKnown. does not access your third-party AI account or conversation history; you choose what result to paste into the editor.
Your account email, private lead-routing email, unpublished drafts, billing information, support messages, and visitor enquiries are not intended to appear on the public profile.
04 · How we use information
We use information to create and host pages, authenticate owners, deliver visitor enquiries to the right company, provide support, process subscriptions, count profile views, secure the service, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and improve GetKnown.
If you choose a trial, we use your account email for a welcome notice, reminders near expiry, and an expiry notice. These account-service messages are separate from your page’s private enquiry inbox and do not enroll you in a marketing mailing list. Trial expiry changes the public address, not the owner or private enquiry history.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use private company drafts, support messages, or visitor enquiries to train a GetKnown.-owned general-purpose AI model.
If you explicitly opt in, we may email occasional product news, feature invitations and offers. You can withdraw in Dashboard → Account & billing → Email preferences, or use the unsubscribe link in a newsletter. Withdrawing does not stop essential sign-in, page or billing messages. We retain the preference and consent record while needed to honour your choice and resolve consent questions; account-closure review includes these records. We do not use newsletters to test unknown registration addresses.
05 · AI and your existing AI account
The standard GetKnown. workflow is designed so you can use an AI service you already use, then paste the resulting company profile into GetKnown. GetKnown. does not automatically receive access to the private conversation history of that AI account.
If future versions offer direct AI or connected-account features, we will identify the additional processing and permissions before you enable them.
06 · Service providers
We use service providers to operate GetKnown. These may include:
- Netlify for hosting, functions, and application data storage.
- Supabase for authentication.
- Google if you choose to sign in with your Google Account.
- Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection when you create a page or send an enquiry. The security check processes technical browser and network information, including your IP address. Your page content and enquiry message are not sent to Turnstile.
- Resend for transactional email delivery and, when enabled, newsletters to people who opt in.
- Stripe for subscription billing and payment processing.
These providers may process information in jurisdictions outside your country. Their own privacy terms also apply to their services.
07 · Browser storage, analytics, and tracking
GetKnown. uses browser storage for practical product functions such as authentication sessions, draft recovery, language or interface state, and preventing a single browser session from incrementing a public profile-view counter repeatedly.
When you follow a referral link, its random code can be remembered in your browser for up to 30 days so an invitation survives email sign-in. You can choose “Continue without a referral.” After sign-in, accepted attribution is attached to your account and cannot be reassigned to another inviter. Uncredited invitations expire after one year. Credit records are retained as needed for billing, fraud prevention and handling disputes. Referrals are optional and do not change your subscription price.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics on public pages to understand aggregate visits, referring websites, popular pages, countries, device types and page performance. This analytics service does not use analytics cookies or build advertising profiles. We exclude sign-in, account, dashboard, private-preview and sharing-tool pages from this measurement, and respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Our existing profile-view counters are separate.
Cloudflare processes the technical requests needed to provide this service. Learn more in Cloudflare’s privacy policy. We do not use behavioral advertising trackers.
08 · Confidentiality and security
We treat non-public account information, unpublished content, visitor enquiries, support messages, and private page settings as non-public. Access is limited to people and service providers who need it to operate, secure, maintain, or support the service.
GetKnown Lab stores your current interest in an idea against your account, with the date of your update. Votes are not public and can be withdrawn on the Lab page. They help us choose experiments; they do not subscribe you to emails, enrol you in a pilot or authorise introductions. Account-level deletion requests include Lab preferences. Website badges are ordinary linked images, not tracking scripts. Loading a hosted badge image sends a normal image request to GetKnown; you can instead download and host the image yourself.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. GetKnown. does not by itself create an NDA or sector-specific confidentiality agreement. Do not submit material that requires contractual confidentiality, regulated-data controls, or special security commitments unless those requirements have been separately agreed with us.
09 · Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain legitimate business and security records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You can delete a page or your entire account in Dashboard → Account & billing. Account deletion requires a code sent to your verified account email and an explicit confirmation. You can export your page text and enquiries first; download linked photos and videos separately before deleting.
After you confirm account deletion, your pages become unavailable and automatic cleanup begins after a short safety delay. It removes your pages, drafts, owned uploads, current enquiries, newsletter and Lab preferences, then your sign-in account. Paid GetKnown subscriptions are cancelled during cleanup without an automatic refund. We send a completion email only after deletion succeeds. Provider failures can delay completion and appear in our private administration queue. Contact support if you need help.
Saved drafts are available for recovery for up to 30 days after their last save. Scheduled maintenance removes expired draft content; a minimal expiry marker may remain to protect a concurrent new save. New delivered support records are retained for up to one year after delivery, while undelivered requests remain for support review. Short-lived rate-limit and duplicate-view records are cleaned up after their useful window; webhook-processing markers are kept for 90 days. Aggregate lifetime view counts are retained, with daily detail limited to 90 days. Maintenance is processed in bounded batches, so removal may follow the expiry time.
Current page enquiries and generated sharing images are removed when the page is deleted. We retain a minimal record of the old address and account association to prevent its reuse from exposing historical enquiries. Older enquiry records from previous product versions are quarantined for owner verification, not automatically attached to a new account. Uploaded logos are retained for account use, including drafts, and are limited to 100 per account; contact support to remove unused uploads or close an account. Automated maintenance does not delete logos referenced by pages or drafts, or legacy records awaiting review.
Some information may remain in backups, logs, payment records, or systems maintained by service providers where legally or operationally necessary. Account deletion retains minimal address reservations, a hashed trial-use marker, billing identifiers needed for historic payment events and a minimal deletion-completion record. These are not public profiles. Expired unconfirmed deletion codes and their email addresses are removed by maintenance; a minimal expiry marker can remain.
10 · Your choices and rights
Network discovery and company matchmaking are not enabled in this release. If introduced, participation will require a separate choice and an explanation of what information becomes public. We do not use private strategy notes or enquiries for network matching or send automatic introductions.
You can edit or remove published page content, change a page's private enquiry email, cancel a paid subscription, and request access, correction, or deletion of personal information where applicable law provides those rights.
Privacy questions or requests can be sent to hello@conexkt.world.
